I have heard a couple of different versions of this joke. This version comes from Feld Thoughts.
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing on Iraq.
He concludes by saying: “Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed.”
“OH NO!” the President exclaims. “That’s terrible!”
His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

I love it! I’ve heard it as a blonde joke before but it is MUCH funnier this way!

Isn’t the funny part of this the surprise element? Putting the punchline in the post’s headline seems to ruin the joke’s impact for those who have not heard it. But, still, very funny and glad you posted it.

I hate it when people tell the punchline first. In my defense, I have had hundreds and hundreds of people fine this posting on my blog because they went into Google and searched for brazillion or “How many more than a million is a brazillion?” or “what is a brazillion?” or “how many is a brazillion?”.
they would have found it anyway if the punchline was anywhere in the body!
I searched for that phrase just to know how many people are using it in their title!!
I am not sure how many is a Brazillion, but it sounds like a lot of lingerie.

(And yeah, man, what a way to ruin a joke by putting the punchline in the headline. Is this blog written by my mom, or what? She always fails on jokes by saying “Oh I know this job about a horse with a long face… wait how’s it go again?”)
I completely agree that it ruins the joke. The funny thing (and unexpected) is how many people have come to the site because of this post. So it makes for a bad joke but good SEO.
So … there is no such number as a brazillion? I understand the joke but i want to know if it actually is a number?
