My life as a Comic Book Character

Inside Chris's Head, Macintosh No Comments »

I picked up this picture recently from the Apple Store from trying our photobooth. So now I want to start working on add a comic book in my copious free time (when I am not working, sleeping, eating, blogging, podcasting, video podcasting, volunteering, etc).

Portable Media Expo and Podcasting Conference

Inside Chris's Head No Comments »

I attended the Podcasting Expo in Ontario, CA this weekend. I was only able to get a badge for the show floor and not for the conferences because that filled up. The show floor was not all that large. It probably only took a couple of hours to see everything and talk to all those exhibiting.

The best part of the conference for me was meeting other podcasters and comparing notes, making plans, etc.

One thing that I thought was ironic was that the Ontario Convention center was split between the Podcasting Expo and the Portable Sanitation Association conference. The later was showing off port-a-potties. It was an odd juxtapostion. Was it related? Production and disposal? :-)

Amateur Traveler Podcast on iTunes top 100

Inside Chris's Head No Comments »

Well, all that promoting that iTunes has been doing for me and the pain that the servers have been going through also led to some good news. For the first time ever, the podcast made the iTunes list of top 100 most subscribed podcasts. I should note that this is only counting one of the two feeds (iTunes enhanced). Cool.

If you went to the podcast page of the iTunes Music store today and scrolled down (no, further down, just a little bit further, further, there) to the bottom of the featured podcasts there was the Amateur Traveler Podcast which is my podcast.

Please Excuse The Interruption

Inside Chris's Head No Comments »

I have not updated my blog in over a week because I was in the middle of changing blog tools from iBlog to WordPress. This proved to be much more difficult than I had originally expected. I did not realize how many strange things iBlog had done with the HTML of the pages and with some of the images. Lots of images had the same name. Many images were not in the format I had expected. But finally with the use of some conversion tools and lots and lots of scripting the blog is in good enough shape at least to fire up again. I still have some missing images here and there so thank you for your patience.

Please note that the rss link for the site has changed among other things.
