Hook a computer up to your TV and download the shows off of bitTorrent after the season is over. No commercials that way. Or even better, get a subscription to World of Warcraft and start playing. I have the EXACT same setup, with the added xbox360, Wii, etc. To add insult to injury, I have a LIFETIME license on my TiVo, which makes me want to stay with them all that much more. One thing that I have been exploring is using an older xbox as a poor man's Media Center. (The old xboxes can be picked up fairly cheaply at game stop and are easily 'converted') Using the xbox, you can then browse iTunes, bitTorrent, etc. Just one possible solution to consider.
