I was surprised that it took almost no time at all after Steve Job’s keynote address at MacWorld for the Apple rumor engine to swing back into action. Apparently getting new machines that are 2-5x faster than the current versions were not enough. I have spotted the following rumors since then:
“some very, very cool stuff” was eliminated from Steve’s speech because of shortages of the Core Duo chips.
