I don’t have a section in my blog for stupid photographer tricks, but if I did that would seem to be the appropriate place for a recent article from David Pogue on teaching your camera to play catch. He has a link to photographs shot using the following methodology:

You set your digital camera to a long exposure, press the shutter button, and throw the camera across the room.
