Now that Apple has announced the Apple iPod Camera Connector which will allow you to connect your iPod photo to your digital camera, I was thinking about what I really want. Since the iPod supports firewire, I want to be able to connect my iSight as a microphone on a normal iPod, as a camera on an iPod photo and as a video camera on some future hypothetical iPod video. I would like to be able to attach an iSight for instance to my dashboard, hook it to an iPod video and video take an entire road trip (using the time lapse mode in my mythical iPod video of course).
