If you want to know what will put your office network at risk then consider this article in the Register from the InfoSecurity Europe in 2003. Annually this group has conducted an informal audit to see how easy it would be to talk people into giving up their passwords. The group went to London’s Waterloo Station and offered people a cheap pen if they would give up their password. Ninety percent of people they talked to gave up their password for the pen.

Men were slightly more likely to reveal their password with 95 per cent of blokes, compared to 85 per cent of women quizzed, prepared to hand over their password on request.
