So-called U.S. Hostage a Hoax?

Does it seem that a lot of hoaxes are happening today or is it just me? :-) So according to CNNand others, the reports yesterday on an Islamist web site of a U.S. Gi who was captured in Iraq have turned out to be G.I. Joe. Seriously.

Liam Cusack, the marketing coordinator for Dragon Models USA, said the figure pictured on the Web site is believed to be “Special Ops Cody,” a military action figure the company manufactured in late 2003.

This made sense to someone?
