Next week is MacWorld and as someone who lives close it is easy for me to get up there and I usually do. Now that we use more Macs for work my boss even tells me not to use a day off to attend. Some years MacWorld is exciting and some years not so much. Last year I thought it was disappointing. Not that cool things were not happening in the Mac world but that few of them were announced at MacWorld. That makes sense to me from a marketing viewpoint. But this year it seems that the rumor mill is working overtime with rumors of sub $500 headless macs, iWorks, some secret video project, iLife 2, etc. Now half of these rumors are probably wrong and I may be setting myself up for disappointment. But for now, for today, it is fun to dream big.
